| Compression Stockings

The new materials available, as well as advanced construction techniques have made it virtually impossible to distinguish them from your normal hosiery or sock options. We are pleased to offer you a full repertoire of compression stockings designed to meet all of your unique lifestyle needs, available in a wide variety of colors as well.
What is compression therapy and when is it used?
Compression therapy is based on the principle that by applying graduated compression via an elastic garment around the leg, the pressure assists the veins in returning blood to the heart, alleviating pressure on the veins and relieving the associated painful symptoms. Compression stockings may be prescribed to treat all manner of vein symptoms at any point during your treatment cycle.
How is compression measured?
Compression classes vary from light, class 1 or 2, to strong, class 3 or 4, depending on the severity of your condition. The amount of compression is based on the pressure exerted at the ankle (where it is greatest) and is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg).
What types of compression are right for me?
Which compression stockings will be right for your individual treatment will vary according to your unique condition; which can include stockings, socks, pantyhose or even bandages.
